Puzzle Maker Pro - Word Star

Your Complete ALL-IN-ONE Word Star Puzzle Maker

Word Star puzzles are basically a random placement of a single word or phrase in a circular shape.

The first letter gets a random position, each next letter is placed x steps further.

Where x is a special calculated number that makes sure every position on the circle will be used.

Let's take a look at what Puzzle Maker Pro - Word Star can do for you...

You may have found the solution by yourself, or by looking at the rightmost picture: Portugal.

The second picture from the left is a specific puzzle type, called Knight Moves, like the chess knight's moves.

It's included in Puzzle Maker Pro - Word Star, and works for 8-letter words only.

How Does Word Star Work?

The easiest way to create puzzles, is to type one or more words with 5, 7 or more letters, use the random setting, and click Create.

Automatically you'll get a unique puzzle for each word. And even a pdf puzzle book if you want.

The screenshot below shows you some of the options to create puzzles.

Don't worry if it looks complex, there's an in-app tutorial that explains all the steps in detail.

Word Star Puzzle Page

Puzzle Maker Pro's built-in page generator for jpg, PPT and PDF will create a special layout for Word Star puzzles:

It will also print the description - or clue - with the puzzle, and a couple of underscores (spaces) as well, where your customer can write down the solution for the puzzle.

If you prefer not to use this, you can - of course - switch it off.

The solution pages will show the word star puzzle with the numbers for each letter, as in the screen shot above.

Word Star Styling Options

You can completely customize the fonts for Word Star, using the font editor that's shown at the right.

Select your own font, font color, and customize the size and positioning of the font.

Why?

Because we know that not all fonts are perfectly aligned, or have an equal size.

And finally, you can save your font setup as a preset for later use as well.

You can also choose any color you want, for background, fonts and lines.

Whenever you click the color preview box, you'll see the Color Select Dialog.

Set your color using Decimal or Hexadecimal RGB codes, HSL codes, or just click the rainbow images to select your colors visually.

And... of course you can save your colors as presets for later use as well.
